Wine has been in and out of my life but the impression has been permanent. It's good to express your feelings through something more creative. Drinking it has given me immense joy but staying away from it has created a new space of appreciation. The bottle that holds that wine now has a new place in my heart.

Every place has an energy and an aura, Cairns was one such place. The views were inspiring and the weather was inviting. I brought home the feeling of the Ocean, the playful fishes in the ocean reminded me that happiness can be just like swimming in the ocean. The vastness, the colours, the vegetation, the air and the under water movement created a bubble of ideas. My first painting on Cairns Ocean reflection found a new home.
Every art project starts with a concept, an idea or a passion. The project 'Slow and Steady wins the race' was inspired by a customer's love for Turtles. Then a beautiful journey started with the conceptualisation of the form, the colours, the background, the feel and the outcome. It triggered all the senses, as I had to share the passion to create a work of love.
The instance of an idea, the instance of creation lies within you somewhere and it can come out whenever you are ready, it triggers the outcome.
Custom made art is a slow process, it's a travel, it's a journey. There are many questions asked and answered.
The outcome is a topic of discussion, it's a center of attraction, it stands tall and talks to many people in many ways. The owner needs to own the piece like a child. The glow of the painting increases as the years go by. It creates light and positive vibes as it becomes part of the family expression. ‘Slow and Steady wins the Race’
In the world of fast pace and this unending rate race See a turtle for few minutes, it’s going nowhere See a turtle after an hour, it’s crossed the road See a turtle after a day, it’s travelled the town See a turtle after a year, it’s reached a new age Every step gets him closer to the destination The slowness is its power, The steadiness is its strength, Which ultimately wins the race Water has been an art inspiration for so many abstract paintings, the reflection, the refraction, the colours, the light, all talk a different language.
Why observing nature is an important activity for any artist? It brings you closer to the colours in nature, it displays the contrast, the complimentary arrangement and the shades.
If I ever wondered how many shades of green are there, just look out the train window, as you pass you will see every shade you possibly could. The dark green, the light green, the green with the grey shade, the fluorescent green, the pastel green .... it's the natures why of teaching you how to paint. The brown of the trunk, the grey of the soil, the red of the flowers. Talking of flowers they are the true abstracts of the world, their shape, how did they get that shape, where did they get their colour. How did they blend the dary and light colour at the same time, how did they achieve the transition. Obvious this is not a new concept where you look at the object and draw or paint, it has been practised by many. But the essence is when you get the flash of understanding what they all are talking about. That gives you the pleasure the dopamine, the thrill, the clarity. I look at plants, they look at me, they notice me and I notice them. I am learning and I am watching.... and getting ignited Wishing all my friends and everybody a Happy Diwali. It's fun to make the play of light on our canvas. Creates the feeling of break through inside and outside.
